We highly recommend that you fully charge your Ninja Tracker before using for the first time. When fully charged the power/charger green light will flash slowly. When turning the device on for the first time, you must switch it on either outside or next to a window. This is so that the device can establish its connection with the GPS. Then visit ninja-tracking-systems.co.uk and click on Control Panel tab, then the ‘Access My Control Panel’ button, or goto ninjatracking.globalalerting.com. Enter your username and password when prompted. You will now be taken directly to your Control Panel where you can live track and control your device.

The tracker will work in areas where a GPRS mobile phone signal is avaialble. Signal strength also depends on immediate surroundings and where the device is placed. The device will use more battery if it is placed in an area where it will regularly have to work harder to attain a network signal, eg inside a shipping container. This also means that areas with very weak signal may not allow the device to function normally in such surroundings.
Functionality of the tracker will also be affected if the phone signal suppliers have any geographical outages. These outages would also effect normal mobile phone on the network in question and are beyond our control.
